***  Book On-Line Now Air-Con Recharge Just £49.99  ***

When the warmer weather begins to make an appearance, an air conditioning system that is in great working order is exactly what you are going to need.

It is recommended that you should recharge your car air conditioning system every 2 years to keep it running efficiently.

Fact: Are you aware that over 10% of air-con gas permeates from the air-con system every year, which means that it may not work as well as it should. This is why car manufacturers recommend your Air-Con system is recharged with gas and lubricant every 2 years. This service is not part of routine vehicle servicing, so if your vehicle is more than 2 years old it’s probably due a recharge.

Fact: During the hotter summer months motorists use the Air-Con system more; however your system is also useful in winter. Air-Con systems create dry warm air rather than the normal humid air from outside and this de-mists your car windscreen more quickly.

Our Re-Gas service ensures that your air conditioning system is working efficiently by testing the gas pressure to see if it has dropped. A drop in gas pressure will result in a loss of cooling efficiency which will make your engine work harder and in turn use more fuel.

Benefits of Air conditioning recharge

Greater fuel efficiency  - A drop in air pressure will mean that your Air Conditioning will not be working to the optimum efficiency, this will mean that the engine will need to work harder, therefore more fuel will be burning up.

Stay cooler – on average you lose around 5-10% of air conditioning gas, although it may seem that your air con is working, it could be working a lot better sending even more cooler air through your car if it was re-gased.

Detect leaks earlier – by detecting air conditioning leaks in the system avoids further damage caused by gases.  Your vehicle will be working hard to keep you cool so it will be using more fuel while doing this so make sure your air con system does not have leaks.

How much does it cost to repair an air conditioning if a fault is found?

Diagnosing and finding air conditioning faults can be challenging and the cost of the repair will depend what the fault is. We are able to investigate leaks and faults on your air conditioning system in several ways. When we re-gas an air conditioning system Once the fault is established we can price the repair for your vehicle.
